Langtang Valley Hike in Comfort is one of the most challenging trails in sort of hiking trail and the chilled moments seeing the destroyed village. Though the Langtang village has almost recovered since the earthquake, the chilling moments it gave to all the villagers remain.
Despite the worst memories, hiking to this beautiful place will never let the trekkers disappoint. Whether it is the panoramic view or the hospitality Langtang Trekking always has something to offer.
More to that, walking in comfort with the help of expert high-altitude hiking guides and superhuman Sherpa Porters is what trekkers can always flex after the trip ends.
Thus, Langtang Valley trekking is one of the most iconic walking experiences that any hiker should explore.
As always, Everest Luxury Holidays’ trips are local activities oriented. Thus, the comfort here lies in the easy way of hiking and more involvement with the locals of Langtang. You will be staying among them, eating with them, and of course, walking alongside.
Depending on the seasons of the treks, your hike will include harvesting, swimming in the chilling Langtang River, herding animals, and more. This will get you more immersed in the culture of the Langtangis. During the festival period, the hike will get more comfortable as we will get to observe the festival values among the locals.
In addition to that, our trekkers will be staying in comfortable lodges throughout the trek. The guide will make sure that you are safe and sound and be more flexible with your travel plan.
Throughout the hike in the tree line, you will have sightings of Langur monkeys, if lucky enough red panda, Deer, and more. However, the Red Panda is one of the endangered animals in Nepal. Always be careful not to harm or scare them. Additionally, being human shy, you need to be careful to not disturb them in their habitats. Observing them from a safe distance is good for both travelers and wildlife.
Getting above the treeline in the region will take you more into Himalayan Bird Sightings. These spottings are another comfort attraction that keeps you different from other hikers.
As Lamtang National Park does not allow several hiking paths, we will have to use the regular route as any other trekker is doing. Though, as already mentioned the difference always lies in comfort:
Day 1: Drive to Syaprubesi from Kathmandu
Day 2: Trek to Lama Hotel
Day 3: Trek to Langtang Valley
Day 4: Trek to Kyanjin Gompa
Day 5: Hike to Kyanjin Ri or Tsergo Ri and back to Kyanjin Gompa
Day 6: Trek to Lama Hotel
Day 7: Trek to Syaprubesi
Day 8: Drive back to Kathmandu
In Kathmandu, you will have a 5-star Hotel Stay or Heritage Hotels according to your choice. This will make your stay more luxurious and ensure safety. The total 3 nights of stay in Kathmandu will be no doubt a luxury trip.
However, the Langtang Valley is nothing like Kathmandu. With limited guest houses available and basic ones, the stay will be pretty basic. Though there are almost no attached bathrooms in the hotels, that is the only adjustment. But as you come to the mountains, you have to face the adventure and appreciate it as it is.
With that mentioned, the comfort always lies in your hike, food, and cultural involvement. The mountains’ blessings always are with us, and the Langtang always awaits.
