Annapurna Base Camp Hike in Luxury

We are ready to welcome you to the city of Temples in Kathmandu. Our representative will pick you up from Tribhuvan International Airport in a comfortable vehicle of your choice and transfer you to the Hotel. 

If you arrive during the morning, then our primary team member will meet you for lunch. However, if you arrive during the day, the meeting will be during the dinner only. Similarly, in case of nighttime arrival, you can rest for the night and we will meet during the upcoming morning. 

The meeting is usually to finalize the payment and give you how your trip is going to look ahead in more detail than discussed or just reviewed.

Today is more of a relaxed day and preparation for your upcoming trek. The sightseeing of the day starts after your breakfast at your hotel. You will be picked up by our Expert Tour Guide and brought in a private comfortable vehicle for the tour. The sightseeing covers 4-heritage sites of Kathmandu, namely; Patan Durbar Square, Pashupatinath, Bouddhanath, and the Monkey Temple.

After the tour ends for the day you will be provided with the gear and duffel bags at your hotel which you can pack flexibly. You can also meet your hiking guide this day to create a familiar way of trekking ahead.

Today is the day which begins your excitement for the trek. You along with your guide will have the first flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara. After you reach Pokhara, a comfortable Jeep will be waiting for you to drive up to Ulleri. The road until Nayapul is black-topped. However, from Nayapul onwards, the trails are off-road and more bumpy, so sit tight.

After reaching Ulleri, you will start to walk for the day. As the walk is just around 2-3 hrs you will reach today’s destination Ghorepani easily. On the way, there are a few forests that are not that dense. Once you reach Ghorepani, you will rest in a homestay.

Ghorepani itself is a Gurung village. You can enroll in seeing the sunset activities the locals are doing like collecting the harvest, feeding their animals, and getting the dinner ready for you.

Today you start early. You will be starting the trek at around 4.30 in the morning and hike to Poon Hill Viewpoint. Poon Hill is the best place in this region to catch the sunrise over the Annapurna Mountain Range. Alongside, you will also observe Mount Dhaulagiri and Mount Fishtail.

After sunrise, you will head back to Ghorepani for breakfast. After breakfast, you will then head toward Tadapani, which is around 3-4 hrs. away downhill. Today, you will pass through the lush forests, again. If you are traveling in the Spring, the trail will be full of red and white rhododendron flowers. 

Also, you can observe schoolchildren going to school on their own walking for a few hours. Similarly, you can also see local farmers farming, herding animals, and more.

This day is short, but exciting delving deeper into the Annapurna region.

From today onwards, you will avoid seeing vehicles for a few days except for the helicopters flying right above you. From Tadapani after your breakfast, you pass by Chhomrong village. This place used to be one of the major spots for staying overnight. However, nowadays the camps are shorter, and the trekkers have reduced staying here. Sharing the stories of locals in Chhomrong, you head toward Jhinu. Via, Jhinu you head toward Sinhuwa. 

There are many ups and downs in the hills today. Moreover, you will also be passing through the suspension bridges alongside which are themselves thrilling to cross. En Route, you will also observe the animal herders bringing their cattle like Sheep and mules. Always remember to leave them spaces to pass by and enjoy the views.

After around 5-6 hrs. of the ramble from Tadapani finally you will reach today’s village Sinhuwa nestled right at the hill above the bank of the Modi River.

Today’s hike is mostly uphill. This starts from Sinhuwa itself. The trail is mostly with the stairs rather than the rugged terrain. You might get easily tired walking on the stairs, so the day is pretty long. However, 3-5 hrs. of the push takes you to Deurali.

Deurali means the resting place. As years back when people used to be completely into farming, their farms used to be near the river banks for the easy water supply while their actual residence beyond the farming season used to be at the high hills. The distance between the farms and the village used to be pretty far taking up to 2 days to reach. Thus, the Deurali concept was brought where a resting point could be made. Some people used to rest for the night while some just for a few hours.

The similar significance of the place can be easily felt when you reach Deurali for the overnight stay.

This is the day when all your effort counts. You start the trek today as well after breakfast but pretty much earlier than before. Leaving the tree lines after hiking for around 3 hours you reach Machhapuchhre Base Camp. Though nobody has climbed Mount Fishtail yet, the base camp is set. 

Resting for a while if reached early or having lunch at the Base Camp of Mount Fishtail already gives you the best scenic view of Mount Annapurna Range. 

After lunch or a short break, you head towards the final destination. The guide will lead you gradually for around 1.5 hours finally reaching the photopoint. After capturing the photo right in front of the board of Annapurna Base Camp you head toward the guest house for the night stay.

This region is pretty cold, so stay warm with your clothes and fire, too. You can involve yourself in cooking the food for the night along with the chef team. You can enjoy and celebrate your victory, but not too much as it is a high-altitude region.

You wake up pretty early in the morning for the sunrise observation once again over the Annapurna Range. This picturesque view will never let you get away from it. 

After breakfast, you wait for the helicopter to pick you up. Once the helicopter arrives, saying goodbye to the Annapurna region you fly to Pokhara for around 20 minutes. Tonight as well treat yourself and your guide and Porter to the nightlife of Pokhara.

This day is more flexible than before. After your breakfast at your hotel, you can start the day. Our tour actually covers the City Tour only in Pokhara. But you can also involve yourself in other activities like Paragliding, Zipline, Bungee Jumping, or even White River Rafting of Class 3 and 4. All you have to do is pre-inform us so that a customizable itinerary can be prepared.

After breakfast, your guide will again pick you up from the hotel and get you to the airport. You will fly together to Kathmandu and then be dropped off at your hotel. You have a free day today. After you spend time for yourself, we will then take you to the Spa. After the Spa, you will again meet the prime member of the organization to treat you with a good farewell dinner and share all the stories of the expedition.

After the dinner, we will drop you back to the hotel.

As usual, after these many days of familiarity, it will always be hard to say goodbye. Our representative will again pick you up to drop you back at the Airport. Until next time, Namaste.
